Every April, HHEF goes to each grant recipient to congratulate on their wonderful grants being funded for the next school year! You can see below some wonderful grants that were or being funded!
2026-2027 Prize Patrol
Mobile Fab Lab (Simmons Elementary): Second graders will dive into STEAM learning with the Mobile Fab Lab, exploring innovation through design and 3D prototyping. The residency concludes with an Invention Convention where students showcase their creations.
Adaptive Bicycles (Simmons Elementary): An adaptive tricycle will help elementary students with physical disabilities learn to ride alongside their peers, promoting independence and inclusive participation.
Band Jam (Simmons Elementary): Band Jam, an adaptive musical instrument, will allow students with fine motor challenges to play multiple instruments independently, fostering inclusivity in music education.
Tell Me a Story (Hallowell Elementary): Selected students will craft and illustrate their own stories, which will be transformed into personalized hardcover books. This project builds confidence, vocabulary, and fluency by connecting reading and writing to their spoken language and interests.
LEGO Education (Hallowell Elementary): The 5th-grade robotics club will explore artificial intelligence and computer vision with LEGO® Education kits, engaging up to 250 students in cutting-edge STEM learning while ensuring data privacy.
Survival in the Wild (Keith Valley Middle School): Seventh graders will participate in a hands-on Animal Adaptations program, linking classroom science to real-world animal survival strategies and fostering environmental awareness.
Immersive Learning Lab (Keith Valley Middle School): ClassVR headsets will bring lessons to life through immersive virtual field trips and interactive 3D models, helping students explore complex concepts in engaging new ways.
Magma Math (Keith Valley Middle School): Middle school students at Keith Valley will use this AI-powered math program to receive personalized feedback and support, helping close achievement gaps and build critical thinking skills.
Author-In-Residence (Keith Valley Middle School): Seventh graders will collaborate with NYTimes Best-Selling Authors Victoria Jamieson and Omar Mohamed, exploring graphic storytelling and resilience through the powerful graphic novel When Stars Are Scattered.
Where Math and Science Meet (Keith Valley Middle School): New tools and resources will connect middle school Family & Consumer Science lessons directly to math and science concepts, highlighting the real-world relevance of 21st-century skills.
From Creator to Consumer (Hatboro-Horsham High School): Our high school students will gain access to a full set of modern digital cameras, empowering them to become thoughtful creators by exploring how images tell stories and shape meaning in today’s visual world.
