Lisa Fisher, Hatboro-Horsham High School
Finishing my first year of high school I keep remembering all of the great times I spent in your class. 7th Grade was a rough time for me not having many friends but I always felt at home when in your class. Your sense of humor made last period and advisory a delight. I am now in a very good place in my life and I think partially because of your own doing. You taught me to open up to other people more easily and allowed me to become the person I am today. You may not know what you are doing in the moment but your class meant the world to me and I don’t know what I would have done without it. Thank you so much for doing what you do and never stop being the amazing, kind, and humorous person you are.

Dave Sowers, Hatboro-Horsham High School
Dave Sowers is a remarkable teacher, coach, leader and human being! His positivity is infectious and I can speak to this from personal experience. When my daughter attended HH, his door was always open, and she knew he was in her corner through some very tough times. She could go to Mr. Sowers and ask for help with anything from personal advice, to help with any subject, and leave with a smile on her face and feeling good about herself. He has also been a great mentor for my son, who has learning problems, and his introduction into the sport of Lacrosse. My son used to literally hide, wander or tantrum when we tried any type of group activity. The clinic run by Mr Sowers was such a positive experience for him, his confidence going into his 1st practice just brought tears to my eye. This is why Dave Sowers is our families Hatters Hero!

KVMS may describe you as a teacher, but Annika found a hero in you. As parents, we don’t always like to share our names with anyone else, but we were happy and grateful to hear Annika call you her “School Dad.” Thank you most sincerely for your kindness, your guidance and your support. You and Annika are a wonderful team and you have given her a lifetime of lessons to guide her as she grows. You will be missed.

Thank you so much for all you have taught me and let me experience throughout the years. Thank you again for teaching me and helping me with technology.

Thank you for going above and beyond to care for and insist on riding in the ambulance with Ava when she suddenly had a seizure at school. The most horrific day for us as parents was easier to bear because we knew she was in the best hands AND heart. We are not only thankful for your endless support during a difficult time, but also for the incredible instruction she’s received from you in the classroom. She continues to be inspired by you and your guidance and caring will surely be remembered and appreciated by our entire family for a lifetime.
