All second grade students in the Hatboro-Horsham School District got an inside look at ballet during a workshop at Simmons Elementary School, Horsham, given by the Philadelphia Dance Theatre in Mount Airy which recently performed The Nutcracker at Hatboro-Horsham High School on Dec. 6th. Both the ballet and the workshop were sponsored by the Hatboro-Horsham Educational Foundation. Practicing some ballet moves are, from left: Sarah McGarrigle from Blair Mill Elementary School, Horsham; Justin Notarianni, Crooked Billet Elementary School, Hatboro; Julian White, Blair Mill; Edward Barnes, a guest artist from Pennsylvania Ballet; and Emily Lamberg of Lower Gwynedd and the Pennsylvania Dance Theater. Both Ed Barnes and Emily Lamberg danced in the recent Nutcracker performance.
