The Lorax visits H-H Elementary School students and delivers some special gifts

Students from all the Hatboro-Horsham School District elementary schools got a recent visit from “The Lorax,” a character from a Dr. Seuss book by the same name about the plight of the environment in recognition of the 40th anniversary of the Lorax book. The visit is part of a series of environmental activities funded by the Hatboro-Horsham Educational Foundation that will include purchasing the Lorax book for every elementary classroom, planting flowers, begun by seeds planted in K-5 classroom containers, in a reading garden at each school. With the Lorax at Simmons Elementary School in Horsham are, from left: first graders Keira McDevitt, Liam Cooperberg, Harry Phynn, and Alice Hall.
