The Hatboro-Horsham Education Foundation is pleased be able available to provide grants that help teachers, teaching teams, and schools enhance and enrich instructional programming.  The application is available here.  The application deadline is January 18, 2008.. 

The grants must be for projects that support media literacy, guest presenters, or hands-on math and science because the funds come from Education Improvement Tax Credits made available to local businesses by the State.

Last year, grants were awarded to teachers at the elementary, middle, and high school levels for projects as diverse as Lego Mindstorms, consumer science and kinetic sculpture.
