The Hatboro-Horsham Educational Foundation has a win-win
proposition for area businesses: Support the foundation,
help provide funding for innovative programs in the
Hatboro-Horsham schools — and receive a 75 to
90 percent credit on their state taxes.
HHEF is proud to be a participating organization in
the commonwealth’s Educational Improvement Tax
Credit Program (EITC). Administered by the Pennsylvania
Department of Community and Economic Development, the
program awards tax credits to businesses that make contributions
to approved scholarship organizations and/or educational
improvement organizations.
Businesses can apply for the tax credit program if
they are subject to:
- Corporate Net Income Tax
- Bank & Trust Company Shares Tax
- Insurance Premiums Tax
- Capital Stock Franchise Tax
- Title Insurance Company Shares Tax
- Mutual Thrift Institutions Tax
Your tax dollars will be applied directly to one of
these programs: Media Literacy, Hands-On Math &
Science, Guest Professionals.
For businesses committing to two consecutive years
of support, a 90 percent credit will be awarded. For
businesses committing to one year of support, a 75 percent
credit will be awarded. For more information, please
contact the HHEF office at 215-420-5261.
Our most sincere thanks to the following businesses
who have taken the lead and formed partnerships with
HHEF this year through the EITC:
- Centocor, Inc.
- Harleysville National Bank
- Hatboro Federal Savings
- Materials Sciences Corporation, Inc.
- Motorola, Inc.
- Pharmaceutical Manufacturing Research Services, Inc.
- PNC Financial Services Group
- Universal Health Services, Inc.
“I urge you, as a member of our business community,
to embrace this tax credit program and support the fine
work of the Hatboro-Horsham Educational Foundation.”
